Twelve years ago, Hairetics became a Summit Salon.
For our guests, that probably isn’t something you think about when you sit down in our chair. But behind the scenes, becoming a Summit Salon helped shape a lot of what Hairetics is today—especially the way we approach education, growth, and building careers in this industry. And after 12 years, we think that’s worth celebrating.
What Is a Summit Salon?
Summit Salon Business Center works with salons across the country to help them build stronger businesses and better career opportunities for their teams. For Hairetics, being a Summit Salon means there’s intention behind how we grow.
Our stylists aren’t left to figure out their careers on their own. We have systems for setting goals, tracking progress, continuing education, and helping each person build the kind of career they want behind the chair. It’s not about everyone following the exact same path. It’s about giving people the tools and support to figure out theirs.
Education Doesn’t End After Beauty School
Getting your cosmetology license is the beginning. Trends change, techniques change, products change, and even after years behind the chair, there’s always something new to learn.
Education has always been a big part of the culture at Hairetics. Our team continues learning through classes, hands-on training, coaching, and working alongside one another. That commitment to education gives our stylists the opportunity to strengthen their skills, explore new areas of the industry, and continue evolving throughout their careers. It also means our guests benefit from a team that never stops learning and looking for ways to get better.
Growing Stylists at Hairetics
One of the things we’re most proud of is being a salon where newer stylists can build a real foundation. Our Associate Program gives developing stylists the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, continue their education, and gain hands-on experience as they grow behind the chair.
The goal is to create a clear path from beauty school to a successful career behind the chair, with mentorship and real-world experience along the way. It’s an approach that allows new stylists to develop at their own pace while learning what it takes to build lasting relationships with guests and a career they’re proud of.
12 Years Later
A lot can change in 12 years. Our team has changed, the industry has changed, and Hairetics has changed. What hasn’t changed is our belief that there’s always room to get better.
Becoming a Summit Salon gave us a framework for something we already cared deeply about: creating a salon where people can keep learning, build careers they’re proud of, and grow together. Twelve years later, we’re still doing exactly that.
